　生野幸吉・檜山哲彦(編)「ドイツ名詩選」(岩波文庫)から、ギュンター・グラスの「洪水」(Hochwasser)を紹介したい。

⚠️Hochwasser の「hoch」(ホッホ)は英語の「high」に、「wasser」(ヴァッサー)は英語の「water」に相当する。直訳すれば「高い水」。だから「洪水」。
