作品の内容を楽しむというより、文章を追って文法的に面白いところを探すという楽しみ方をしている。

カズオ・イシグロの英語の文体は、私が思うに「受験英語」を極めた人の英語のようだ。方言はほとんどなく、そのまま暗唱して覚えれば、受験や資格試験の英語の答案で模倣して借用しても良さそうだ。そ
