1 Ode to Beethovens Seventh Symphony*1
He dances the inky steps,
She saves up the yellow sands
in the desert, wild cherry flowers bloom
colour-soaked, upon the cold, glittering ground.
* especially the allegretto part that appeared in the film Zardoz.
ps:wagner calls this sumphony suite the apotheosis of dance. but to me it makes me think of Zarathustras seventh, and last solitude, his lone dance in the desert witnessed only by Nietzsche and I, where wild cherry blossoms bloom wildly everywhere in the dark sand, reflecting the end of the twilight. this is to me the humanization of the divine dionysian dance.
