③自分の『使命』に自信を持つ

”自分を最高レベルに高めるためには、自分の使命に自信を持つこと。そうすれば勇気が湧いてくる。成功への意志がどんなに強くとも、いくら使命感に燃えていても、必ず反対する人や批判する人が出てくる。しかし、どんなに苦しい状況でも、あきらめずに前進できる人がいるのはなぜか。それは自分の「使命」に自信があるからだ。”

Be confident in your mission to elevate yourself to the highest level. That will give you courage. No matter how strong your will to succeed is, no matter how passionate you are about your mission, there will always be people who oppose or criticize you. But why are some people able to move forward without giving up, no matter how difficult the situation may be? It's because I'm confident in my "mission".

Playwright Neil Simon advises: "Don't listen to the criticism that 'the way you do it is wrong'. It may be so, but do what you want. Ignore the people who say 'that's a very reckless plan'. Take this criticism seriously. Had I listened, Michelangelo would have been painting the floor of the Sistine Chapel, and by now it would have worn out and disappeared."

”使命とは、自分以外の人と関わりのあるテーマであるべきだ。誰かの為に生きてこそ、人生は価値がある。”

A mission should be a theme that is relevant to people other than yourself. Life is worth living only when you live for someone else.
