Who is Roger Voltz, the Modern Last Samurai?

How did Roger become the Modern Last Samurai?

I would like to share with you his background.

After graduating from the University of Paris and completing his military service in the French army, Roger Voltz came to Japan.

He studied Aikido and classical martial arts under Master Mochizuki Minoru at the Yoseikan Dojo.

He also learned karate and Okinawan classical martial arts under Master Teruo Sano.

In April 2005, he founded the Shindoryu school of staff arts, becoming its technical instructor.

Over the course of 50 years in Japan, he trained under masters of Aikido, Karate, classical martial arts, and classical techniques, and eventually established his own Shindoryu Bojutsu.

Of course, within classical martial arts and techniques, he has mastered skills that involve the use of various weapons such as sword, sickles, nunchaku, staffs, and sticks, as well as judo and jujutsu.

Despite being French, he can be considered a true modern Samurai, embodying and practicing the Bushido spirit that many contemporary Japanese people have forgotten.

From his experience in martial arts, classical martial arts, and classical techniques, he developed life-saving techniques and also created the Roger Wellness Health Method after experiencing yoga firsthand in India.

The Roger Wellness Health Method includes breathing techniques used in yoga and karate and primal mobility techniques so that everyone can stay healthy, mobile and strong, therefore be able to live long lives.

Roger himself practices anti-aging methods and, through daily lessons, provides these techniques to others.
