I knew I had to watch it.

2 hours and 4 minutes
I was totally immersed in Otomo's world!

People who have never seen it before can experience that emotion for the first time!
It's a wonderful thing.

From a historical perspective, too.
The quality is terrific.
The direction is flawless.

I remember some net-citizen saying that AKIRA is a basic education.

I think it will not be so confusing whether you have read the original or not.
