When I lived in a certain town many years ago, there lived a very talkative old woman in my neighborhood. She has a real surname, but let's call her Takada-no-baba.
Takada-no-baba ia always talking about this and that and she is spreading one rumor after another. Nobody would believe what she says if she only told a pack of lies. However, what she says has some truth. As she is a skillful liar, everyone tends to be deceived.
The husband in your neighborhood has a date with a young girl every Friday. I saw them enter "a love hotel". A man is such a creature foolish enough to seek a young pretty girl invariably. I totally sympathize with his wife.
I've heard the son in his neighborhood is so foolish that he failed to pass even the third-rate university.
By the way, she takes after, what is called, Amida-BBA.
