Kiyomizu-dera

A few seconds before the final blow,
the day's first sunbeam hits the robot.
After a momemt of staggering,
KING JOE splits back into four floating cubes,
disappearing out of sight into the dark.
The light and heat from the sun is too strong for aliens PEDAN on the Earth.
This is why MOROBOSHI has been saved, but in his moribund state.
After several minutes, he, a dirty rag, is found by Kiyomizu-dera monks
and transported to hospital.

MOROBOSHI wakes up to find himself in bed.

"Alive…   in one piece…   "

"Of course, you are…  " YURI cries.
The other members give a sigh of relief.

"Were you attacked by the robot?"

"Yes. 
Four white cubes,
the size of a common box of paperboard,
unites into the robot, what they call KING JOE. 
The aliens control each cube. 
Its body might be made of TSUNOSAN M16. 
Its arms repeat thrusting alternately and very quickly. 
Neither our physical attack nor heat beam would probably be effective.  Judging from their way to fly away,
they could be vulnerable to the daylight,
because, the moment the sun rose, they escaped."
DAN explains concisely and clearly.
And, finding his glasses on the side table, he falls asleep again.

"Gud job, MOROBOSHI."

The members look back,
finding an orange T-shirt in green suits standing there.
KURA has come to Japan again to attend the Kyoto meeting.
"Wi mast meika nyu wepon inoda tu atak za robot. 
Giv mia help, AMABE."

Dusk coming again, it grows darker and darker.
The evacuation advisory has already been issued.
This time, four robots appear in as many places:
Kyoto Station, Arashiyama Togetsu Bridge, Ohara Sanzen-in,
and Mt Hiei Enryakuji Temple.
They starts destroying buildings and attacking people.
Each robot, about two meters tall, has enormous power,
and moves aiming at K University.
Alien PEDAN on the screen said,

[[[ Humans should give up,  The Earth is in our hands. ]]]

"Your truth is to INVADE the Earth, isn't it?"

[[[ No.  This is just retaliation. ]]]
It disappeared off the screen.

"The Youth are go, to keep the damage to a minimum."
KIRIYA goes out by HAWK 1, FURUDA by HAWK 3, and SOMA by Beetle.
YURI is on standby at K Univ Hospital.
KURA and AMABE are making a new weapon at a rapid pace.
MOROBOSHI is still sleeping,
while he is getting better and better at such a high speed
as cannot be compared with human beings.

Now almost all the representatives from each country
are fighting all together with INVADE aliens
for the world peace, or the planet peace. 
However, four robots makes their way
with overwhelming power, reflecting missiles and beams.

The Earth is huge, you know.
The battle of its survival is being fought in Japan, a small country, in Kyoto,
a small town, and at small corners, it sounds humorous, or absurd.
But unquestionably, it's a fact.
Fact is sometimes more MYSTERIOUS than fiction.

Suddenly, there come out bright firewoks
with heat and without sound over the dark sky in Kyoto.
The night looks as if it changed into a daylight in a moment.
But not firewoks, It is the illusion KURA created.
Bathed in the pseudo sunshine,
those four robots tum back into floating cubes, totally 16.
One bullet SOMA, a great sniper,
fires through the car window hits exactly one top of one cube through,
which is easily cracked and broken.
The bullets, made by KURA and AMABE,
are shot from HAWKs to destroy the rests like ice cubes.
A big shout of victory goes up from the crowd of fighters,
like the last scene of SF movies.

Aliens PEDAN and humans has the dialogue.

"We would appreciate it if you would believe us. 
We will no longer, never attack you. 
Originally, it is our trivial but trivial action that caused the battle. 
Whether we find it right or not,
it is against a rule for us to peep into or take something from your home. 
We should not do what we should not do, so we must apologize to you. 
We are very sorry."

KIRIYA lowers his head, and accordingly, all humans do.
Nevertheless, some can forgive and othes cannot.
Aliens PEDAN are rather the former.

[[[ We understand this time.  There's no next time. 
We would fight TOKOTON until our death. ]]]
  
"I promise not."

They leave the Earth for their mother planet.

The global meeting is held as scheduled,
talking about several topics and making some suggestions:
preliminary surveys before launching space rockets,
responses to COMRADE or INVADE,
and organization of TERRESTRIAL DEFENSE FORCE
with the Youth in the center.

epilogue

As is often the case, KURA has promptly returned to the US.

"Let's back to TOKIO, shall we?" KIRIYA proposes.

"MOROBOSHI has already got well.  Too early, aren't you?" FURUDA says.

"Incredible vital energy!" YURI smiles.

"What on Earth enabled you to beat those strong robots?"
MOROBOSHI asks

"Thanks to Professor KURA, right?" AMABE answers.

"Thanks to my sniping, exactly!" SOMA prides himself.

Usually, SEVEN has just solved in a minute before they notice it.
This time, however,
the Earth humans protected their planet by themselves,
which makes MOROBOSHI a happy driver.
(You can do it, NON-MART!)

He passes Ponto-cho, crossing the river.
Evacuation order lifted, along the Kamogawa are a lot of walkers.
