今日もmumuwawaと一緒に『古事記』を読み進めながら、天地の成り立ちを感じています📖✨

これまで、國之常立神（くにのとこたちのかみ）や豊雲野神（とよくもぬのかみ）など、大地の基盤を整える神々が登場しましたが、次に現れたのが 宇比地邇神（うひぢにのかみ） です🌏

🌿 宇比地邇神とは？
・ 「うひ」は「初め」、「ぢに」は「泥（地）」を表す とされる
・ つまり 「初めての大地」 という意味を持つ神
・ 古事記では、須比智邇神（すひぢにのかみ）と対（いも） となる神として登場
・ 泥が固まり、大地へと変わる過程を象徴 する神と考えられる

最初の国の始まりは、まだ どろどろとした状態 だったと伝えられています。
その 「泥」が「大地」へと変化していく最初の一歩 を担うのが宇比地邇神🌏✨

mumuは
「泥んこ遊びみたい！🌱」
「足がズブズブ埋まる感じかな？」
と興味津々。

wawaは
「じゃあ、どろ団子を作れば、僕たちも神様みたいになれる！？✨」
と、すっかり泥遊びモード😂

こうして、私たちの足元にある 「大地」 に意識を向ける時間が持てるのも、古事記の魅力ですね💛✨

Feb9.2025- 宇比地邇神 (Uhiji-ni no Kami) 🌱

Today, mumuwawa and I continued reading the Kojiki, feeling the origins of heaven and earth 📖✨

So far, we have encountered deities such as Kunino-tokotachi no Kami and Toyokumo-nu no Kami, who prepared the foundation of the land. Next to appear is Uhiji-ni no Kami 🌏

🌿 Who is Uhiji-ni no Kami?
・ “Uhi” means “first,” and “ji-ni” is thought to mean “mud (earth).”
・ In other words, this deity represents “the first land.”
・ In the Kojiki, Suhi-ji-ni no Kami appears as its paired deity.
・ This deity symbolizes the process of mud solidifying into land.

It is said that in the beginning, the first land was still in a muddy, fluid state.
Uhiji-ni no Kami represents the very first step of this “mud” transforming into solid “earth” 🌏✨

mumu excitedly said,
“It’s like playing in the mud! 🌱”
“Maybe it feels like our feet sinking into the ground?”

Meanwhile, wawa eagerly asked,
“Then if we make mud dumplings, does that mean we can be like the gods too?! ✨”

This way, Kojiki helps us become more aware of the “earth” beneath our feet 💛✨
