三重県へ ２日目 その１ Let's go slowly
２日目の朝、チェックアウトが１１：００ということもあってゆっくり寝ようかなとも思いましたが、朝食も食べたい。そして早起きをしました。旅行に行くと普段より眠ることが多いのですが、今回は違いました。楽しんでいたんですかね。
On the morning of the second day, I thought I'd get a good night's sleep since check-out was at 11:00, but I also wanted to eat breakfast. And I got up early. I usually sleep more than usual when I travel, but this time was different. Were you having fun?
朝食はビュッフェで、和食も洋食もありました。最近はホテルに泊まっても朝食はコンビニで買ってきたパンを食べることも多かったのですが、今回は食事もゆっくり楽しもうと思って予約をとっていました。
並んでいる食事を見ていて、和食を選びました。白いご飯が美味しそうだったんですよね。実際に美味しくて、おかわりまでしていました。前日の夕食の時にも見かけた食事会場のスタッフさんにいっぱい食べてと言われたことも影響したのか、食べ過ぎぐらいに食べていました。朝からこんなにいっぱい食べたのは初めてじゃないかなあ。
Breakfast was a buffet, with both Japanese and Western food. Lately, even when I stay at a hotel, I often eat bread bought at a convenience store for breakfast, but this time I made a reservation with the intention of enjoying my meal at a leisurely pace. I looked at the food options lined up and chose Japanese food. The white rice looked delicious. It was actually delicious and I even ordered a second helping. I ate almost too much, probably because the staff at the restaurant I saw at dinner the night before told me to eat as much as I could. I think this is the first time I've eaten this much since morning.
この後、ホテルでレンタルサイクルがあることを知りました。天気もいいことだし、サイクリングもいいかと思って行き場所を検索したところ行きたくなったのが「御座白浜」です。地図で見る限り、行けると思ったんですがフロントで聞いてみたところ車で行ったも結構時間がかかるとのことで断念しました。他のところに行けなくなってしまうので。
そこで行こうと思ったのが「横山展望台」です。賢島の駅から鵜方駅に行けばいいらしいということで、ホテルはチェックアウトしました。シャトルバスまで時間があったのでホテルの敷地内を散策しました。前日に回りきれなかったところです。
After this, I learned that the hotel has bicycle rentals. The weather was nice and I thought cycling would be a good idea, so I searched for a place to go and found Goza Shirahama. I thought I could go there based on what I saw on the map, but when I asked at the front desk, they said it would take quite a while to get there by car, so I gave up. Because I can't go anywhere else. So I decided to go to Yokoyama Observatory. I checked out of the hotel because I was told that I could go from Kashijima Station to Ugata Station. I had some time until the shuttle bus, so I took a walk around the hotel grounds. This is a place I couldn't get around to the day before.
タイトルの写真はiPhoneで撮影、この写真は一眼レフです。違いが面白い。iPhoneは広角で撮っていることもあって画角が変わりますが、青空の発色の違いがはっきりと出ます。フィルタを付けるとまた変わるのかも。
The title photo was taken with an iPhone, and this photo was taken with a single-lens reflex camera. The difference is interesting. The angle of view changes because the iPhone is shooting at a wide angle, but you can clearly see the difference in the color of the blue sky. Maybe adding a filter will make a difference.
これは賢島駅から撮った写真です。鵜方駅に行く電車を待つ間に海が見えたのでiPhoneで撮りました。
鵜方駅まで５分ぐらいだったかな。改札を出たところに志摩観光協会があり、そこで電動アシスト自転車の貸出をしていました。タクシーで行こうかなと思っていましたが自転車の空きがあり、天気も良い、道順も難しくはないということでレンタルをしました。時期によっては事前予約をした方が良さそうです。
This photo was taken from Kashikojima Station. While waiting for the train to Ugata Station, I could see the ocean and took a picture with my iPhone. I think it took about 5 minutes to Ugata station. There was a Shima Tourism Association just outside the ticket gate, where they rented electric assist bicycles. I was thinking of taking a taxi, but I decided to rent a bicycle because there was space, the weather was nice, and the directions weren't too difficult. Depending on the time of year, it may be best to make a reservation in advance.
電動アシスト自転車に乗るのは初めてですが、これが快適。最近は街の中で自転車に乗るのは自転車の数が増えていたりで乗りにくいかなあと思って乗ることは無くなっていたのですが、今回は本当に快適でした。途中、車が多いところも通りますが、そのあとは人も少なく、車も少ない道路でゆっくりとマイペースで走れました。坂道で油断すると思った以上にスピードが出てちょっと怖かったですけれど。
It's my first time riding an electrically assisted bicycle, but it's very comfortable. Lately, I haven't been able to ride a bicycle in the city because I thought it would be difficult to ride because of the increasing number of bicycles, but this time it was really comfortable. On the way, I passed some places with a lot of cars, but after that I was able to ride at my own pace on roads with few people and few cars. It was a little scary because I let my guard down on the slope and the speed was faster than I expected.
展望台には車で来ている方の方が多かったです。ただ駐車場がいっぱいのようでした。自転車を利用していたのは自分を含めて数人程度。繰り返しますが自転車は快適です。
Many people came to the observation deck by car. However, the parking lot seemed full. There were only a few people using bicycles, including myself. Again, the bike is comfortable.
展望台に関しては、また後日。良い眺めでした。
