I stand on the performers' side.

I told him I could not work for 2 years and could not use any insurance and medical coverage. The Japanese government froze my bank accounts, and they basically ban to send money to my Canadian bank account. I had asked for donations and gotten around 3000 to 5000 CAD every month for almost a year, but already it's not OK for them and me. I got a work permit recently finally and have income assistance and medical plan.

Also, I got a big grant from Toyota for my project. Others are basically from Japanese Government. I got the total amount of 400K CAD as grants. So I have good skills maybe...

Additionally, I was a member of the Human Rights committee of Metropolitan Tokyo Government or so.

It's true.

But usually, it's difficult to believe 😕 Usually, people don't believe and think I have an illusion.

I'm so sad because I am the same person whether I speak in public as an experienced researcher with 16 years of a professor career, or as a newcomer drag artist who is a former modern geisha with a sex worker identity.

I am both a researcher and a strip performer, but I stand with sex workers because I was, and am, one of them before I established my researcher identity.
