tweet的感想『日本独立』

　大日本帝国憲法と、日本国憲法を読み比べてみたら、確かに、天皇の立場、戦争放棄・戦力不保持・交戦権否の部分に関しては全く違うけど、その他の部分に関してはかなり共通している。
　戦後生まれの自分にとっては、終戦前の日本との連続性は感じられないけど、戦中・戦後を生きてきた人達にとっては日本というものはずっと連続して、進化してきた国と感じていたんだろうな。

I compared the Constitution of the Empire of Japan and the Constitution of Japan. The most obvious differences are the emperor’s position, the renunciation of war, the prohibition on maintaining military forces, and the renunciation of the right to belligerency. However, other parts of the two constitutions are quite similar. For those of us born after the war, it feels as though pre-war Japan and modern Japan are completely separate. But for those who lived through the war, Japan is a country that has continued and evolved over time.
