About myself #3 -As a hotelman#1-
When I changed my mind about becoming a hotelman, I thought of working as a front clerk because they needed to speak English, but during hotel college, I had a teacher who worked as a bellman at a hotel.
He explained how hotel porters' duties are enjoyable and substantial.
While taking his classes, I changed my mind about being a bell girl.
Luckily, I could join the hotel same as my teacher, and I was assigned to the front service team as a bell girl.
I had a lot of things to learn, but I enjoyed every day.
I had many opportunities to attend celebrities to their rooms.
It was a part of my beautiful memories.
Moreover, I had an awkward experience; we needed to send guests' lost items, and a front clerk asked me to send something to the guest who had already checked out.
It was an "artificial tooth," "ireba," in Japanese.
I wrapped it up carefully, put it in the tiny box with some cushions, placed the stickers printed "FRAGILE" and "HANDLE WITH CARE" on it, and shipped it.
After several days, I received a thanks letter from the person who owned "ireba," I was relieved to know he safely received his valuable item.
Talking about the artificial tooth, "Iireba," as a child, I stayed at my grandparents' place; my grandpa was looking for his ireba after bathing, but he couldn't find it, and a few minutes later, my little cousin opened his mouth and showed with "ta-da!" there was his grandpa's ireba he had put and popped out.
All of us laughed out loud.
I have many things to share, but next time.
