発想力を伸ばす

私の教室は英語、歌、ピアノを教えているので、発表会ではその3つを発表します。
英語の発表は歌か自由発表で今年はオリジナルで絵本を作ってくれた子がいました。
その発想があまりに面白かったのでご紹介します。
原稿は子供が日本語で書いてきたものを、私が英訳して、読んで録音し、それを練習して発表します。

The Dragon

Once upon a time There was a dragon.
昔むかしあるところに一匹の竜が住んでいました。
One day the dragon was flying in the sky and he bumped into
a power pole.
ある時、竜が空を飛んでいると電柱に頭をぶつけてしまいました。
Ouch!  He felt pain on his face.
After he came home, he found that his eyes popped out.
「いたいな」と思って帰っていると急に目が飛び出てしまいました。
Oh! no! He ran out because he was shocked.
「うゎ」と言って走って行きました。
There was his friend chick walking on the road.
The dragon said to chick "Hello"
His eyes hit the chick.
すると友達のひよこがいて「おはよう」と言った時、竜の目玉がひよこに当たりました。
Then the chick's eyes also popped out.
Oh no!  The chick also ran out.
するとひよこも目が飛び出て、ひよこも「いゃ〜」と言って走り出しました。
They hit their friends one after another and all of their friend's eyes popped out.
そしてどんどん友達に当たってみんな目が飛び出ていきました。
The dragon gave up  putting the eyes in order, and he played with his friends.
もう治すのを諦めて目が出た友達と遊びました。
Suddenly the dragon woke up.
He knew that was a dream.
遊んでいる時、急に目が覚めて
目が飛び出たことは夢だとわかりました。

子供の発想力、型にはめずに伸ばしてあげたいですね
