親愛なる息子へ

今日は、月に一度のpapaのコーチとのセッションがあったんだけど、papaの近況や仕事のことをいろいろ話したよ。特に最近の出来事や、これからの計画について深く話し合ったんだ。

そしてね、今日はpapaの会社の節目の日（学期終わり）だったので、会社に顔を出そうと思ったんだけど、mamaからの緊急の電話で予定を全て変更して、君が待つ家に帰ったんだ。

今朝は、午前中はpapaの妹に、午後からはpapaのお母さんとおばさんに君のサポートを頼んだんだ。本当にありがたかった。

君のおばぁちゃん（mamaのお母さん）は、なんとか意識を取り戻したみたいで、papaも親族もホッとしたんだ。でも、まだ安心はできないんだけどね。1週間くらいは、mamaは海外でおばぁちゃんを見守って過ごすことになると思う。

なので、その間、papaが君をケアしたり、papaの家族にも助けてもらいながら、君を守っていくつもりだよ。

君のおばあちゃんのことは心配だけど、今はpapaは信じて見守ることしかできない。mamaの体調のこと、君のこと、そしてpapa自身のこと、こういう時こそ、健康に気をつけながらやっていきたいと思うよ。

P.S. 今日はお昼から、papaが実行委員長をしている地域活動の話し合いがあったんだ。スポーツイベントなので、君が大きくなったら出場することがpapaの夢の一つでもあるんだ。

Dear Son,

Today, I had my monthly session with my coach, and we talked about a lot of things regarding my current situation and work. We had a deep discussion, especially about recent events and future plans.

Today was also an important day at my company, marking the end of the term. I was planning to visit the office, but I had to change all my plans and come home because of an urgent call from Mama.

This morning, your aunt (Papa’s sister) helped out, and in the afternoon, your grandmother and great-aunt took care of you. Papa is really grateful for their help.

Your grandmother (Mama’s mother) regained consciousness, which brought a lot of relief to all of us. However, we still can’t be too optimistic. Mama will likely stay overseas for about a week to be with her mother.

During this time, Papa will be taking care of you, with the help of Papa's family. Papa's family will do our best to look after you.

Papa is worried about your grandmother, but all Papa can do is trust and wait. Papa needs to take care of Mama’s health, your health, and Papa's own as well. It’s important to stay healthy during times like these.

P.S. This afternoon, Papa had a meeting about the community activity Papa is  leading. It’s a sports event, and one of Papa's dreams is for you to participate when you’re older.
