【英語日記】イギリスに荷物を送ったら、Wで多額の税金がかかった件

All of the one two one therapist lesson will end today.
We are planning to have a launch party next time.
It has been a really busy three months, but I am glad it all end well.

From now on, I have to prepare for my trip to the U.K.
Little by little, along with my usual work.

I received a call from my mother the other day.
She received the package I sent from Japan.
It arrived earlier than I expected.
It is by sea.
I thought it would take about six months due to Corona and the war, but to my surprise, it arrived in three months.
This is completely normal shipping time.

However, there was one problem.
I sent four large boxes of goods that were big enough to fit me.
My mother told me that I had to pay a hefty tax to receive them.
I have paid taxes in Japan as well, in addition to the shipping costs.
If it is also charged in the UK, I will pay the tax with a W.
I had to think about how to save tax when I send the rest of my packages.
