June 13, 2024: Studying Maths (53), Integration（数学の勉強（53）、積分）

I have just completed the first part of the integration section in my maths book. It was much easier than expected, and I enjoyed solving the questions. I hope to enjoy the last two parts.
It has been half a year since I began to use the maths book. I have enjoyed the book. And I am proud of my hunch for finding the great book. It is simple and easy to understand. It helps me not only to understand maths well but also to learn English. It has a lot of words and expressions that I did not know. Some of them are:

 Give/hand something to someone on a plate
- to allow someone to get or win something very easily:
・The other team handed him the goal on a plate.
Catch someone out
- to trick someone into making a mistake:
・The examiner will try to catch you out, so stay calm and think carefully before you speak.
Scrummy/Yummy
- to taste extremely good
 
I still have much to learn from this book - not only maths but also English.

　積分の第一回目を終えたところです。予想よりずっと易しく、問題も楽しく解けました。残りの２回も楽しみたいと思っています。
この数学の本を使い始めて半年になります。この本を楽しんでいます。そして、我ながら、この素晴らしい本を選んだ自分のカンに関心しています。シンプルでわかりやすいです。この本は、数学だけでなく、英語の勉強にも役立っています。知らなかった単語や表現がたくさん載っています。そのいくつかを紹介します：
 
Give/hand something to someone on a plate：やすやすと手渡す。
・相手チームは彼にあっさりと得点を許した．
Catch someone out：かまにかける。
・試験官はかまにかけようとするので、落ち着いて、よく考えてから話すこと。
Scrummy/Yummy: とてもおいしい
 
この本から学ぶことはまだたくさんあります。数学だけでなく、英語も。
