Studying Maths (80), Graphs of Functions（数学の勉強（80）、関数のグラフ）

Last week, I worked on the graphs of functions, a new task in my maths book. Learning about how to sketch the graphs was time well spent. I learnt that the shape of Y=kX^n is different, depending on k (coefficient) and n (power). I also learnt about the translations and reflections of graphs. I do not mean to say that I have understood them fully. But I am sure that I was able to catch on them much better than a year ago. I also enjoyed solving the questions on them. I also got help from YouTube videos.
When I was reading the book, I found the phrase ‘time well spent’. I was happy to see it again and used it in this text. I will continue to look for new phrases in the book that I never knew before.

　先週は、関数のグラフを勉強しました。グラフの描き方を学べて、有意義でした。Y=kX^nの形はk（係数）とn（べき乗）によって違うことを学びました。グラフの平行移動と対称移動についても学びました。完全に理解できたとは言いませんが、1年前より確実に理解が深まっていました。問題を解くのも楽しかったです。 YouTubeの動画も参考になりました。
　このテキスト読んでいたら、「time well spent 」というフレーズを見つけました。また出会えて、嬉しかったので、この文章にも使てみました。これからもこの本でも、今まで知らなかったフレーズを探します。
