October 4, 2024:Studying Maths (65), Binominal Distribution（数学の勉強（65）、二項分布）

I began to study English grammar and maths in English again from the next day after I was discharged. I had no problem doing English grammar. I had a good memory of what I had been doing before going into hospital. So, I was able to restart studying it with my English grammar book. And these days, I read a few pages of, and do the questions in, my grammar book every day.
But maths was not so easy to start again. I forgot what I had been doing before going to hospital. At the time, I had just finished probability distributions. And I was about to work on the part of binomial distribution. But I had to work on probality distributions again, because I forgot it. I had finished it yesterday and began to work on the binominal distribution. But it is very hard for me to understand. It looks like fun if I can understand it fully. But I will need time to understand it fully. I need a couple of hours every day to understand only a small part of the binominal distributions. But I will never give it up. I have plenty of time to work on it and will continue to do so until I fully understand it.

　退院した翌日から、英文法と（英語で）数学の勉強を再開しました。英文法はまったく問題ありませんでした。入院前にやっていたことをしっかり覚えていたので、英文法の本で勉強を再開できました。このところは、毎日、文法書を数ページ読み、問題を解いています。
　でも、数学はそう簡単にはいきませんでした。入院する前にやっていたことをすっかり忘れてしまっていました。入院前に確率分布を終えていました。そして二項分布に取り組もうとしていた矢先でした。でも、すっかり忘れてしまっていたので、また確率分布からやりなさなければなりませんでした。昨日ようやくそれを終えて、今は、二項分布に取り組んでいます。でも、二項分布はとても難しいです。分かれば面白そうですが、完全に理解するには時間が必要です。二項分布のほんの一部を理解するのに毎日2、3時間かかります。でも、絶対にあきらめません。時間はたっぷりあるし、完全に理解できるまで続けるつもりです。
