千羽鶴【2022.8.9】何度聴いても好きな歌

8月9日。
この日に必ず耳にする、大好きな歌があります。

長崎の平和公園の祈念式典でいつも歌われている曲なんですが、
優しいメロディや歌とのハーモニーが、もうなんというか、何回聴いてもとても素敵なんですよね。

【今日はどんな日？】
77年前、
1945年8月9日11時2分。
アメリカ軍のB-29ボックスカー（Bockscar）という名前の飛行機が、長崎にプルトニウム原爆「ファットマン」を落とし爆発させました。

何度聴いても泣ける曲

「千羽鶴」という曲。
式典の最後の方で、高校生の子どもたちが歌っています。

長崎市では、毎月9日の11時2分に防災無線で流されるそうです。
その時は子どもたちも学校の授業を中断するそうで、毎月平和に意識を向けるいい機会ですよね。

これから先、核兵器や戦争がなくなり長崎が世界で最後の被爆地であり続けますように。

その美しい夜景で全国的にも有名な稲佐山ですが、長崎の街を一望できる昼間に登るのもいいですよね。

カズオ・イシグロさんの長編小説「遠い山なみの光」の中にも、じつは稲佐山が出てきます。

これまでどちらかというと陰鬱とした住宅エリアの世界から、久しぶりの行楽で稲佐へ行くことに。一転して山の自然豊かで開放的な場面へと切り替わって、その場にいるような清々しい空気感をじます。
