Italy is on a path to（～の道へ進む）its 1st far right led government since the 2nd World War with Georgia Meloni, Brothers of Italy projected to have won the biggest number of seats in Parliament in Sunday's General Election.

イタリアの Brothers of Italy党 ジョルジャ・メローニが日曜日の総選挙で最大の議席数を獲得し、第2次世界大戦後初の極右主導の政権への道を歩んでいます。

Five rescuers have been killed after being swept away（～に流される）in flash floods caused by a typhoon in the Philippines.   Super typhoon Noru has brought winds of up to hundred and 75 km per hour. 

フィリピンの台風による鉄砲水で、救助隊員5名が流され死亡しました。  スーパー台風「ノル」は、最大風速100km/hと75km/hの強風をもたらしました。  

The British pound has slumped to an all-time low （史上最低）against the US dollar.  It has recovered slightly in the past hour.  Markets have reacted badly to the government's plans to cut taxes and hugely increase borrowing.

英国ポンドは対米ドルで史上最低水準に低迷しています。この1時間で若干回復しています。 市場は、減税と大幅な借入金増額という政府の計画に悪く反応を示しました。

NASA is preparing to crash a space probe（宇宙探査ロケット機） into an asteroid （小惑星）to try to change its course.  The mission will see how difficult it would be to stop a space rock（隕石）heading for earth.

NASAは、小惑星に探査機を衝突させ、その軌道を変えようとする準備をしています。このミッションでは、地球に向かってくる隕石を止めるのがどれだけ難しいかを見ることになります。
