オートルートアンバサダーからのメッセージ　#19

We pray for a speedy recovery for all those affected by the coronavirus. I would also like to express my condolences to those who have passed away. We also send our thanks and cheers to all those who work on the front lines.

We hope that a society divided by the coronavirus will be able to reaffirm the value of each individual's existence and recognize each other again.
　
It's times like these that I thought it was necessary, and I'll be posting a message once a day from our Haute Route ambassadors.

進むべき道を見失い、漂ようとき。

「あとどれくらい行かなくてはならないのかと、尋ねるたびに目的地は遠ざかる。」

ニューヨーク州北西部に居住していたネイティブアメリカン、セネカ族の言葉です。

目的地を自分自身で決め進捗を管理し、創意工夫することで進むべきである。他人に目的地を聞くスタンスであるならば、既に自己のそれではないことに費やし、浸食状態にあるという事。

実力以上のレースに出続けていたころ。多幸感があり、あれほどハマったのはひとえにレースのゴール地点＝目的地がはっきりしていたからであるのを、実感しています。

日々のトレーニングに凄味が増し、外的要因、日々の失敗すら成功の材料として活用し続ける精神状態（＝内発的動機）に入ります。

そうなればしめたもの。
