短歌 山形県新庄市最上公園にて三首

以下は、秋田県の隣県の山形県新庄市の最上公園内にある戸澤神社での短歌三首です。戸澤神社は嘗て新庄を治めていた戸澤氏に因んだ神社で、明治26年に建てられました。
The following are three tanka poems written at Tozawa Shrine in Mogami Park in Shinjo, Yamagata Prefecture, a neighbouring prefecture of Akita, Japan.
Tozawa Shrine is associated with the Tozawa clan that once ruled Shinjo, and was built in 1893.

風韻は秋色ふふみ新庄の守り宮に透く平和(やわらぎ)のかげ

Autumn hues
merge with refined tones —
through Shrine trees
in Shinjō, the light of peace
blissfully glows

にはかにも心曇らす煩ひにとく参拝の掌を合はせたり

Suddenly
a rising worry clouds
my mind —
I clap my hands
in quick prayer to be solved

そこひより緑藻よどむ池の面に思ひ寄せして憂ひうかぶる
:
Gathering my thoughts
my worries float on the pond
green algae
stagnating quietly
at the bottom
