私が学んだ気功はハタ・ヨーガとして空海以前に仏教へ密教として伝わったものとして良いでしょう

顕教は読んで頭で理解できる教え。
The manifest teachings are teachings that can be read and understood.

密教は、読んだだけでは理解が出来ないもの。文字に書き尽くせないものである。
Esoteric Buddhism is something that cannot be understood by just reading about it. It is something that cannot be written down.


密教は、身体の動かし方、働き方を通じて、心に影響を与えると言えます。
Esoteric Buddhism can be said to affect the mind through the way the body moves and works.

身体は人類と共通する部分が多いので、密教は多くの国や宗派で類似しています。
Since the body has many parts in common with humanity, esoteric Buddhism is similar in many countries and sects.

しかし、頭だけで理解する顕教は、国家民族宗派でずいぶん違う。
The manifest teachings are totally different from country to country, ethnicity to ethnicity, and sect to sect. 

なぜなら、顕教は、頭だけで理解される。（善と悪が逆転する）
Because manifest religion is understood only in the head.(Good and evil are reversed).

私が学んだ身体操作、導引、気功は、空海以前の時代に密教として伝えられていたものです。(ハタ・ヨガ）
Body manipulation, physical chi manipulation, "導引" and "qigong" (a Chinese therapeutic method derived from Taoism) were transmitted as esoteric teachings in the pre-Kukai era. (Hatha Yoga)
