of the helmless running posterity,

and to seek out the Charons rowing the emergency-litter

ready with or without carrying their final pieces

of unburied copper or gold.

昔の王侯貴紳と言う貴顕なる鉱夫たち

深く入り込んで

誰もが定めに相応しい分配のダイナマイトを制していった

彼らにとって、生きることは簡単で単純なことだったーー

冥道と言う大義のために掘り進み、死ぬこと、そして

消灯の到着は自然である

個々、地下の暗い盤石の出来たトンネルで

しかし、非業の因果より彼らは死ねば、不慮の事故で

背骨を折る運命の突然のの打ち上げに

それとも、鍬を上げつづ陣痛の最中で訪れる天変地異によって

隔てる場所で忽然草分けになったり、あるい知らない所で埋もれてながら

この様な転がり落ちショーになさって、

彼らは自分の抱いた遺恨を、この風に見せかけ

そこから不死の笑い草の種にもなる、

これらの兜の緒も締めないまま走る後世の人々を通して

そして、上に昇るためにやがて輿を漕ぐカローンたちを探し求めるだろう
