ばらの花

去年秋頃、横浜にバラを見に出掛け春と秋、薔薇は年に二回開花時期がある。深大寺植物園や旧古河庭園が有名だが、あえて行ったことのないところへ行ってみたくなった。こういう気持ちは大切にしたい。
そして朝から電車に乗り、元町中華街駅へ。お昼に中華を食べて、バラ園のある港の見える丘公園へ。階段を登ると、給麗な港と海が見えた。天気も良くてとても気持ちが良かったのを覚えています。そこから少し歩いた先にバラ園がある。
バラのシーズンも終わりかけでしたが、平日にも関わらず多くの人です賑わっていました。バラ園も綺麗に軽備されていて、様々な種類のバラを眺めたり匂いを嗅いでみたり、時間を忘れるくらい楽しく魅了されてしまいました。
その後、本町の方を散歩して、バスで赤レンガ倉庫へ。夜の横浜の夜景は、やはり綺麗で、いつ見ても心動かされるものがありました。最近暖かく、春ももうすぐで、またバラが見られるのを楽しみ日々を過ごしています。

Last fall, I went to Yokohama to see roses.
Roses bloom twice a year, in spring and fall. Jindaiji Botanical Garden and the Old Furukawa Garden are well known, but I wanted to go somewhere I had never been before. I want to cherish this kind of feeling.
Then I took the train in the morning to Motomachi Chukagai Station. After eating Chinese food for lunch, I went to Harbor View Park where there is a rose garden.
Climbing the stairs, I saw the beautiful harbor and the sea. I remember the weather was beautiful and it was very pleasant. A short walk from there is the rose garden. The rose season was almost over, but even though it was a weekday, the place was crowded with many people. The rose garden was beautifully maintained, and I enjoyed looking at and smelling the various types of roses and was so fascinated by them that I lost track of time.
After that, we took a walk toward Honmachi and then took a bus to the Red Brick Warehouse. The night view of Yokohama at night is still beautiful and always inspiring. The weather has been warm lately, spring is almost here, and I am spending my days looking forward to seeing the roses again.
