With paper and crayons and scissors and glue
There is no end to the things we can do--
We can make farms and Noah's Arks,
Trees and fences, and zoos in parks,
Indian villages, soldier camps,
Doll-house furniture, rugs, and lamps,
Ships, at sea, or aeroplanes,
Pictures to paste on the window panes
That seem to laugh at the splashy drops--
We don't care if it never stops!
