“Recognize the Complexity of ‘the’ Issues”
Because I am also a victim of cancel culture, it’s more difficult to understand what my issues look like. However, the main issue I face is discrimination due to social structures, that is, intersectionality.
It’s wrong to ask me to make efforts to improve myself for 2 reasons and an additional reason.
First, it’s not OK to think that discrimination is a personal issue. It could cause extra damage to me.
Second, it leads to a loss of opportunities to identify the real problem. Those who suffer for the same reasons as I do are also asked to resolve social structural problems by their own efforts.
Additionally, this writing of mine in Japanese is affected by English grammatical structures. This suggests that my ability in my first language is being “stolen.”
It’s important to recognize that those who can understand this kind of Japanese text are people with higher education because they are familiar with reading translations from English.
It also shows that Japanese academics are colonized by North America.
Finally, the main reason I am damaged is exhaustion. I have been continuously downgraded and underestimated by everyone everywhere. I was treated as a child due to my English.
It’s quite basic to recognize that ESL people don’t lack intelligence. We need to be patient. It’s not OUR issue. The Canadian economy relies on immigration. It’s not the same as the US. Examine carefully how Canada as a country or Canadian history looks like.
Additionally, I have flashbacks because I talked with Japanese people yesterday. It’s a part of my persecution as a refugee claimant.
Please don’t place YOUR burden on me, Canadian people.
WE are “people in Canada” as you know, following what’s politically correct in “American” culture.
