生命の誕生

It has been one month since our baby was born. We gave him the name “Rainy Dragon”in English, “雨龍, YuLong” in Chinese, “Uryu” in Japanese.

It has been said a dragon brings the rain of grace. It will be raining when a dragon passes. A long time ago, the Chinese Empire used to offer prayers for rain, and people even prayed for rain at wedding ceremonies.

We hope our baby treats everyone equally like a rain falling on the earth, and becomes a strong, clever and dignified person such as a rainy dragon.

Now, we call our baby LongLong. It’s a nickname which comes from his name YuLong. He weight just 2800 g when he was born. Surprisingly, his weight has gone up to 4000 g after one month. LongLong Eats well, sleeps well, and poos well...Whenever I wash his clothes, I realize that there weren’t any beautiful and comfortable diapers when I was a baby. What hard work it was for my parents to wash all my artistic jobs! Definitely, I have to say thank you to them.
