When the people push something without any evidence but using power, “common sense”, and/or atmosphere, you must understand that “the something” is just vested interests. Furthermore, they are usually vested interests of the people who dislike truth.

もしあなたが他人からきちんとした根拠に拠らず、権力や常識や慣習や周りの空気によって何かを押し付けられたら、その本性は既得権です。しかもそれは、真実があからさまになると困る連中の既得権なのです。
