コアラ日記＃51　〜向日葵編〜

向日葵に身長負けた。

I lost my height to sunflowers.

意外と向日葵を近くで見ることってあまり無かった気がする。

とゆうか、意識したことなかった。

Until now, I have rarely had the opportunity to see sunflowers up close.

I wasn't even thinking about it.

そして、いざ近くで見てみると高い。

それが何本も生えているのだからすごい存在感だ。

And when you look closely, you are tall.

It has a great presence because it grows many times.

見に行って良かったと思う。

I'm glad I went to see it.

ちなみにひまわりの花言葉は、

『私はあなただけを見つめる』

だそうです。

By the way, the flower language of sunflowers is

"I look only at you"

That's right.

由来は、向日葵は太陽の方を追うように向くかららしいです。

The origin seems to be that sunflowers face the sun.
