June 29:2022: My Wife, How to Overcome the Heat （ボクの妻、熱い夏の乗り切り方）

     My wife has lived without an air conditioner as of now. "It is in June, but too hot and humid," she has been grumbling. All the same, she manages to live without the conditioner. However, as it gets hotter and more humid, she should need it.
     Probably, she will use a public library with an air conditioner more often. It is a ten-minute walk from my home. She has already used it to read there or borrow books. But she will more often use it and may go there every day. She loves reading and spends all her time on it. The library will be the best place for her.
     Or, she might go to a large shopping mall. It is a thirty-minute drive and is large enough to have walking routes. It is the best place to shop and walk under the air-conditioned roof.　
     In any case, I hope that she will safely overcome the heat.

　ボクの妻は、今のところ、妻もエアコンのない生活をしています。暑くなってきたといいながらも、本を読んだり、勉強したりして過ごしています。でも、これからもっと蒸し暑くなるので、エアコンが必要になるはずです。
　多分、徒歩で10分くらいのところにある図書館の利用頻度が増えると想像しています。いまでも、本を読んだり、借りるために図書館に通っていますが、もっと頻繁に通うようになるでしょう。本好きで、毎日ずっと本を読んでいる彼女には、図書館は最高の場所です。
　または、車で30分くらいのところにある大型ショッピングモールに行くかも知れません。ウォーキングコースできるほど大きなモールです。エアコンが効いているなかで買物も、ウォーキングもできる最高の場所です。
なにはともあれ、無事、厳しい夏を乗り切ってくれることを祈るばかりです。
