There is one surprising 

and good thing that 

has happened during 

the COVID-19 pandemic: 

More people are reading. 

Books are selling 

better than they have 

in the last ten years. 

"Books are pure escapism, 

aren't they?" 

"It engages your 

imagination like no other 

medium! 

Your worries disappear!"

Tony Mortimer who was 

a member of a famous 

1990s boy band 

now 50 years old says 

he had never read 

a book until the 

pandemic happened.

He also started writing 

his own a young adult 

adventure book, 

now has thousands of

 words written but is 

finding the creation of the 

book's structure a challenge. 

He is thrilled however 

that in writing there are 

no limits on imagination. 

This taught us that 

we could always start 

to begin a new 

life-enriching project.
