Taken away, my friend has
Turned into a fiend
邪なことを思うと耳が上へ伸び先がとがる生きにくい世界 200511
It is hard to live
In a world where every wicked
Thought sharpens our ears' tips
鳥の群のようにひしめき合って飛ぶ千本の腕が間近を通る 200511
A thousand arms
Brushed past me, flying like
A dense flock of birds
バーラたちがバーラバーラと鳴きながら私の身体をびっしり覆う 200512
Countless baalas
Swarm over me, chirping

A tropical fish is
One thing and a fish wearing
A tie is another*
*In Japanese, “a tropical fish” is “nettai-gyo,” while “a fish wearing a necktie” is “nekutai-gyo.”
背の瘤を前へ後ろへ移動させおどけてみせるヒトコブラクダ 200517
Too droll a camel,
Moving its hump jerkily
Forward and backward
たくさんの小文字のmが歩いている ヒヨコのように「エムエム」と鳴いて 200522
I met on the road
A long line of ms, which chirp
“m, m, m, m, m, m. . . .”
私を操っていた者たちが私を捨てて行ってしまった 200524
I remained lying,
Those who were controlling me
Having deserted
今の月を弾き飛ばして別の月が地球の月の座を手に入れる 200524
Bumping away
The current moon, some other moon
Usurps its position
背伸びして背が高くなった雪だるま でもぐらぐらになって倒れた 200525
Wanting to get taller,
A snowman stretched himself, but,
Tottering, fell down
倒れたらとても楽だと気がついてそのままずっと寝てる雪だるま 200525
The snowman who fell down
Found lying comfortable
And has remained lying
湖から筏が空へ浮かび上がりどこかへ去った 「かさぶたが取れた」 200526
Rising into the air,
A raft left the lake and has gone.
“Ah, the scab came off”
未来からやってくる虹 現代をしばらく眺めまた帰って行く 200526
Viewing the present
For a while, the rainbow
Returns to the future
捕虫網を振って捕まえようとすると星はその時だけさっとよける 200527
The stars, usually
Immovable, dodge when
My insect net comes near
