はるか遠い昔
海と陸とが戦争をした。
いつか海は断たれ
陸は割れてしまった。
海の捕虜は湖になり
陸の捕虜は島になった。
はるか遠い昔
海と陸とが戦争をした。
いまでも海岸線では
小競り合いがあるという。
Sea and Land
Long distant past
The sea and the land fought a war.
Someday the sea has been cut off
And the land has been split.
Prisoners of the sea became lakes,
Land prisoners became islands.
