ルルという名の女の子の話だ。
あの頃、僕もまだ男の子だった。

もうルルには二度と会えない。
会えたとしても、もうルルじゃない。

　どうして別れてしまったんだろ。

ルルの写真は一枚も残っていない。
だから肖像画を描いてみたりする。

でも、いくら描いてもルルにならない。
どこかしら微妙に違う。

　どうして別れてしまったんだろ。

ルルのいた家はまだそこにある。
けれど、全然知らない家族が住んでる。

あの窓にルルの笑顔はない。
あの窓にルルの泣き顔もない。

　どうして別れてしまったんだろ。

she wouldn't be Lulu anymore.

There are no photos of Lulu left.
That's why I try to draw a portrait of her.
