【Research Report】Study on Policies and Taxation Awareness for the Child-Rearing Generation
Summary
When asked about what is needed in raising children, the top three items with the highest number of responses are "income" (68.6%), "employment environment" (45.5%), and "government and educational support" (43.1%).
About 52.5% of parents are raising children away from their hometown, and among them, 72.5% feel the difficulties and challenges of parenting.
84% of respondents feel regional disparities in the child-rearing environment, and they hope for further financial support from the government.
The area where 49.8% of respondents want the government to focus its efforts regarding the use of national taxes is "the issue of an aging population with fewer children." Approximately half of the respondents welcome the establishment of a Children and Family Agency.
About 51.3% have used the Hometown tax. Among them, around 73% consciously consider the "use of the donation" when making a donation. The most common choices for use are "education and child-rearing" (64.9%), "medical, welfare, and caregiving" (36.7%), and disaster recovery (21.3%).
