【カヴァナ大使の福島訪問】 いわきFCパーク

いわきFCの大倉代表は、Jリーグ第１期生としてプロサッカー選手の経験者。引退後の３年間、スポーツマネージメントを学ぶためにバルセロナに留学し、その後の14年間はJリーグの第一線で仕事をされてきました。そのような経験があるからこそ、2016年からは、"いわき市を東北一の都市にする"、"日本のフィジカルスタンダードを変える"、"人材育成と教育を中心に据える"という明確なビジョンを掲げ、最終的には「日本を元気にする」という目標に向かっています。
「東日本大震災で甚大な被害を受け、被災地のひとつとなってしまったいわき市が、復興から成長へとステージを変え、東北一の都市になる。その先には、ここいわき市で成功した地域創生モデルが全国各地に無限の波紋のように広がり、日本中が元気になっていくストーリーを描いています。」 ​​​​​​​

Support Our Kids アイルランド 2018 参加

2016年に建設されたいわきFCパークは、外装も内装も非常に綺麗な印象を受けました。短い間での視察だったため、選手に質問することはできませんでしたが、練習の6〜7割を使ってフィジカルトレーニングをされている選手の肉体美は、ユニフォームの上からも感じられるものでした。

また、被災地から生まれたチームということで、地域に根付いた活動を行い、地元の復興に繋がっていることもあり、愛されているチームなのだと感じました。その一環として、選手が普段使用しているトレーニングマシーンは一般の方も使うことができ、運が良ければ選手の専属トレーナーにも、アドバイスを頂く機会があると言うことに驚きました。

また、「素直、不動心、決断力、勇気、情熱、忠誠心、規律、勤勉、責任感、成長意欲、敬意」という言葉が書かれているロッカールームは、映画に出て来るような雰囲気で圧倒されました。

最後に、いわきFCパーク内におみくじがあったのでひいてみました。（写真1 参照）内容はサッカーになぞらえており、「筋肉と天才は紙一重」と書かれていました。パーク内でしかひくことのできないおみくじがとても面白かったです。　　　　　　

Iwaki FC Park was built in 2016 and the exterior and interior looked very clean. Due to the short visit, we were not able to ask the players any questions, but I must say that the physical beauty of the footballers, who have 60-70% physical training, could be felt through their uniforms.
As a team born in the disaster-affected area, we also realised that the team is rooted in the local community, carries out activities that lead to local reconstruction, and is loved by the local residents. As part of this, we were surprised to learn that the training machines used by the players are available to the general public and that, if we are lucky, we have the opportunity to receive advice from the players' trainers.
I was also overwhelmed by the atmosphere in the locker room, where the words "integrity, steadfastness, determination, courage, passion, loyalty, discipline, diligence, responsibility, willingness to grow, and respect" were written, just like in a movie.
Finally, there was an Iwaki FC Park fortune and I tried it out. The omikuji was likened to football and said 'There is a fine line between muscle power and genius'.  It was so unique as it was a fortune that could only be drawn here.
