おまけ【#12】英語ニュースで（個人的な）英語学習：スターバックスが「公衆トイレ」をやめた理由

• Starbucks（スターバックス）が is scrapping（廃止している） a policy（ある方針を）。

• that は a policy を説明する関係代名詞。「どんな方針か」を詳しく述べています。

感想
語句が難しかったりすると読みにくいし、文の骨組みが見えてこないと読みにくいっすよね。
個人的には、主語・述語動詞はどれか、名詞のカタマリがあるか、ざっくり全体を見てから細かく見るようにして解釈しています。
自力で分かってくるとかなり嬉しいと思うので、それまでは読み続けていくのがいいかと思います。
もちろん、文法が怪しい方は並行して文法も学習した方がいいかもしれません…笑
