Spiritual Midwife
I studied the courses of spiritual midwifery through an intensive clairvoyant program at the Berkeley Psychic Institute (BPI) in California in 2006-2007. Explaining what spiritual midwifery entails is challenging, as it’s difficult to find equivalent words in Japanese and even harder to describe in English. The training course for 'spiritual midwives' was led by a psychic who was also a certified, practicing midwife so it could be described as the study of midwifery from a spiritual perspective.
In the class, we sat in front of pregnant women while meditating and deciphered the information in their auras, particularly the relationship between parent and child. Surprisingly, as we observed and read their auras, the auras began to change one after another, possibly because the truth we uncovered was altering and mirroring the information within the aura.
While studying spiritual midwifery, I encountered many experiences that challenged my existing beliefs, such as childbirth being easier than expected and improvements in the parent-child relationship after birth due to psychological changes.
Upon completing the two-year course, I obtain a certification as a spiritual midwife with clairvoyant psychic abilities. The instructor told me that I had a good scenes and energies toward children and babies, and she advised me to be trained to obtain certification as a real midwife.
However, my primary interest was in the psychic aspects, so I chose not to pursue active midwifery certification, believing it wasn't necessary for my work.
I returned to Japan around 2010 and started a meditation class in Osaka. Although I wanted to use my experiences as a spiritual midwife to assist with childbirth, I found myself at a loss because there seemed to be almost no demand from people in Japan who were open to unconventional methods rooted in spirituality.
Unsure of what to do next, an acquaintance suggested I work with children who have developmental disabilities. Although my training hadn't specifically covered therapy or counseling for such children, I wondered if there might be a way to apply what I had learned.
'Is there something I can do for them?' that's what I thought.
Algernon Project
The "Algernon Project" is a healing initiative for children with developmental concerns and their parents.
If I were to recall the most significant encounter in my life, one of which would be healing S-chan, the very first child with a developmental disorder that I had the privilege to work with.
After working with S-chan, I became involved in a "Parents' Association" hosted by a friend in Okayama Prefecture, which supports children with mild developmental disabilities and their parents. I also began teaching meditation to these family members.
This led to working with many children and parents dealing with developmental disabilities, autism, Down syndrome, genetic mutations, and more in Shizuoka Prefecture, other parts of Japan, California, and beyond, as well as providing meditation guidance for pregnant women.
The project was named 'The Algernon Project,' after the mouse in the book ‘Flowers for Algernon’ by the renowned American author Daniel Keyes.
In the story, Charlie, who has an intellectual disability like Algernon, undergoes brain surgery that makes him incredibly smart, transforming him into a genius.
However, while Charlie's cognitive abilities improve dramatically, his emotional development remains stunted, leaving him with the emotional maturity of a child.
This lack of emotional growth causes him to struggle with unresolved emotional wounds and stress from his youth, ultimately leading to the deterioration of his mental state and relationships with his friends.
Eventually, Charlie reverts to his original condition.
Through this narrative in the book, Daniel Keyes conveys the message that intelligence alone is not enough for a fulfilling life; emotional growth is equally crucial.
Farewell to Daniel Keyes
Daniel Keyes, the author of 'Flowers for Algernon,' the inspiration behind the name of the Algernon Project, passed away on June 15, 2014.
"What is a human? What is the essence of humanity?"
These questions, exploring the idea that humans are not just physical beings but also beings of the soul, originating from the same source, were central themes in his work.
His contributions are significant, and his ideas have profoundly influenced those pondering, "What is a soul?"
Daniel believed that humans are beings of the soul, and by cherishing and supporting 'how the soul feels,' we can unlock each individual's inherent potential.
This involves understanding and nurturing children who are deeply connected to the essence of the soul. If everyone embraces this belief, a kind heart will envelop the world.
I often think that Daniel believed in this, and he likely wanted to express and practice these ideals.
In our Algernon Project, it feels as though what he envisioned is coming to life in tangible ways.
The ideas he shared ripple quietly across the world, like a drop of water in a lake, and I believe that somewhere, someone is quietly carrying forward his intentions in a meaningful way.
If you haven't read Daniel's book, I encourage you to pick it up, absorb his thoughts, and let your heart be warmed by them. I pray for his peaceful repose.
Meditation
In 2005, after divorcing my ex-wife and losing my job, I struggled with depression and difficulty concentrating.
Eventually, I began attending a meditation class in my neighborhood. As I meditated, my depression gradually improved, the white fog clouding my mind began to lift, and parts of my brain that had been dormant slowly started to awaken.
I could feel this change in my body and see it in my eyes in my everyday life. It must have been similar to how Algernon's brain functioned after his surgery.
My brain began to stir, awakening regions that had been dormant. The sensation of these parts coming to life was exhilarating.
However, my cognitive abilities did not fully return to their previous state. Mental arithmetic, which had once been my strength, remained challenging, and I found myself unable to perform it as I once could.
I also struggled with verbal expression, as if the part of my brain responsible for language wasn’t functioning correctly.
It seemed that other brain regions were compensating for the inactive areas. I also discovered new talents I hadn't been aware of before.
One such ability was synesthesia.
Synesthesia involves experiencing one sensory stimulus alongside another unrelated sense.
For instance, tasting something spicy might also evoke sensations of pain, warmth, or even the vision of a red color. This capability, inherent in everyone, serves as a protective mechanism to enhance survival instincts during life-threatening situations.
However, such abilities can sometimes hinder social integration, and as a result, modern education and lifestyle often downplay these sensitivities.
The synesthesia I developed allowed me to visualize or hear others' emotions or thoughts in words.
I recalled experiences from my childhood when I could predict my playmate's next move in rock-paper-scissors, knowing and seeing their choice before they made it, even though it always ended in a draw.
When I began attending meditation classes, I realized that this sensitivity, which I had once experienced as a child, was unique and also not always welcomed. Consequently, I unconsciously suppressed these abilities until they faded away.
It seems some people inherently possess this ability without realizing it, often resulting in synchronized choices in games like rock-paper-scissors or making identical purchases or menu selections while shopping or dining with others.
I believe my depression stemmed from suppressing my true feelings to accommodate those around me, causing me to lose touch with my own emotions over time.
Meditation helped me reclaim my identity, build confidence, and embrace my synesthesia. Realizing I didn’t need to conform to others brought me peace.
Coming Back to Japan
After studying spiritual development through meditation at BPI, I began to contemplate my purpose in life. I wanted my work to significantly benefit the world and others, not just to earn money. So, I decided to return to Japan and change my lifestyle.
First, I opened a meditation class in Osaka and started teaching meditation. Then, I decided to work as a "Spiritual Midwife" to assist pregnant women spiritually during childbirth.
In a meditation class in the United States, I studied spiritual counseling for childbirth, known as "Spiritual Midwife," and I aimed to extend this practice in Japan as well.
However, it was challenging to find pregnant women who would seek services from me, as I was not using traditional methods and had no established reputation.
While I was trying to find my path, a friend suggested that I could help children with developmental disorders, and I thought her suggestion was the best idea that hit the mark.
Although I was determined to help, I didn't personally know any families with such children. So, I asked a friend if she knew anyone with a child who had a developmental disability. Fortunately, an acquaintance introduced me to a child named S-chan and her family.
The Algernon Project began with S-chan's healing.
This encounter led me to start working with many children and parents concerned about developmental issues, marking the true commencement of this project.
About S-chan
"I wonder what will happen to this child if I die."
When I first met S-chan's mother, she expressed her concerns about her child. From her words, I could tell that she had been thinking about her daughter's future and was worried about her living alone.
The mother gradually noticed that her daughter, S-chan, behaved differently from other children. Her movements were slower, and she seemed less focused. The mother sought to improve her daughter’s situation by exploring various options. She did her best to find a good preschool and enrolled her daughter there.
For me, an outsider who had only met her and her daughter a few times, the mother’s words felt particularly significant. I’ll likely encounter this parent and child only a few more times in my life. To them, I might seem like someone waiting at an unmanned station, watching as the express train passes by without making a lasting impact.
I assumed that after our meeting, the mother would return to her stressful life, worrying about S-chan’s schooling as if nothing had changed. That’s what I thought at the time.
When I first met S-chan, she was about 3 years old.
It felt like she was hardly getting the words out, but those weren't even in sentences, so I didn't understand what she was trying to say.
"Some children develop more slowly, and S-chan was one of them. She was just a small kid, which is why her development was delayed."
Despite her mother’s efforts to remain hopeful, S-chan’s movements were noticeably clumsy. Her arms and legs lacked coordination, her eyes seemed unfocused, and she often stumbled while walking.
These signs made me wonder if she might have a developmental disability or autism.
When the mother first brought S-chan to my office, she had not given up hope. We meditated together during that visit.
As we meditated, I sensed the mother's feelings and began to expand my focus to consider the worries she and her child were facing.
I thought about the problems within their family contributing to these concerns, and then extended my thoughts to their relatives and ancestors, allowing these reflections to come to mind.
I asked myself, "What would I do in that situation?" and tried to immerse myself in the experience as if I were in their place. Instead of analyzing with my mind, I allowed thoughts to surface naturally.
As I continued this process, I released and let go of unnecessary thoughts, making sure not to be overwhelmed by their intensity.
I told myself, "There's nothing to worry about. Just surrender to the flow of fate and let go of everything you're carrying."
As I focused deeply within, I felt a sense of purification.
I imagined that when the mother was young, her mother might have worried about her future in a similar way, which could have felt constraining. Perhaps S-chan, without realizing it, inherited this same worry from her mother, transforming it into stress that affects her body and mind.
I treated these surfacing thoughts as if they were my problems. I told myself, "You no longer need to carry such stress. Your life is yours to decide. You don’t have to live constrained by someone else’s thoughts."
I questioned and spoke to the deeper part of my heart, focusing on "how I want to live," and letting go of unnecessary thoughts and stress.
As I extended these reflections to S-chan, the thoughts causing her distress seemed to dissipate. Gradually, she began to feel more at ease during our meditation, and her awareness became clearer.
Healing Treatments for S-Chan 1
Since I began working with children who have developmental disorders, I have come to believe that there must be underlying causes for the symptoms associated with intellectual developmental disorders or autism.
It is thought that various energies, including those from family members and ancestors, may influence the developmental processes of these children.
However, it seems there is more to it than just that. Each case is unique, and by analyzing the various phenomena and challenges these children and their families face, identifying the energies contributing to these issues, and then adjusting those energies, I have started to develop this approach.
Children with developmental disorders are highly sensitive to energy and can be easily influenced by it. I have observed that even slight adjustments in energy can lead to noticeable changes. Each child is unique, in their strengths, and I believe it is crucial to identify and nurture these strengths. Recognizing and praising even small changes or improvements can have a profound impact on a child's development.
From these observations, it becomes clear that the symptoms are not solely related to the child's challenges but also involve addressing issues from both the child's and the parent's perspectives.
For example, in the case of S-chan, after a session, there were immediate changes in brain activity, muscle movements, facial expressions, and eye movements, as well as a reduction in pain within the head and eyes. These changes are believed to have a significant impact on the child's future potential.
Healing Treatments for S-Chan 2
"The question that every parent of a child like this wonders is, 'When I die, can this child live alone?'" These words, spoken to me during our first meeting, have stayed with me and inspired the creation of a healing program for S-chan.
The program is a 6-week trial designed for children with developmental disorders and autism, consisting of four face-to-face sessions and email counseling.
The program is structured as follows:
First Session: A meeting with the parents to discuss the child's situation and assess the energies in the child's aura.
Second, Third, and Fourth Sessions: These involve direct work with the child and are held every two weeks.
Fifth Session: A joint meeting with both the parent and child to review the energies and assess any changes in the situation.
Weekly Reporting: The mother provides weekly updates via email.
Daily Records: Parents are asked to keep a daily log of any changes or developments they observe in the child.
Significant changes were observed immediately after the first session with the child, as reported by the parents. I would like to share these changes with you in the hope that they may offer some comfort to others who are facing similar concerns.
A week after completing the first face-to-face healing session with the child, the following changes were reported:
Emotionally more stable and cries less frequently.
Increased vocabulary and smoother speech (previously, there was a struggle to find words, which has now decreased).
Body movements became more graceful, and the limbs appeared longer.
Displayed unprecedented initiative, such as successively trying stilt walking, the horizontal bar, and the hula hoop at kindergarten.
Overall, it became more reassuring to observe them compared to before.
These are some of the changes that were observed.
As the program continued, it became evident that there had been significant improvements compared to before. I was looking forward to seeing further developments and progress.
Healing Treatments for S-Chan 3 (Mirror Writing)
Writing that is flipped left to right and can only be read correctly in a mirror—let's tentatively call it "mirror writing"—is famously associated with the genius Leonardo da Vinci from the distant past.
My curiosity about mirror writing led me to search for information online, but I was unable to find much. However, I did come across explanations related to developmental dyslexia, which seemed somewhat connected, so I've included them below.
S-chan's use of mirror writing piqued my interest, prompting me to reflect on how humans perceive objects. This contemplation led me to consider the following process:
Light reflected by objects passes through the cornea, which acts as a lens, flipping the image upside down and backward onto the retina.
The light reaching the retina undergoes several chemical changes, creating an electrical current across the cell membrane, leading to gradual voltage changes in the ganglion cells.
This ionic current then travels through the optic nerve, exits the eye socket, and crosses over at a specific point before reaching the visual cortex, located at the back of the head.
Based on the information that reaches the visual cortex, the frontal lobe analyzes and identifies what the seen object is.
During the process where visual information travels from the optic nerve to the brain's visual cortex, some interference may cause the information, which is typically reversed, to be transmitted to the brain as it is. This could result in mirror writing. Some form of stress or load may disrupt the smooth transmission of the information received by the eyes, affecting its journey to the frontal lobe.
In our previous session, we focused on the pain S-chan was experiencing behind her eyes. I believe that healing this pain could have a positive impact on the brain's information processing. However, such changes take time, require adaptation, and cannot be achieved quickly.
While there is a hope that a genius like Leonardo da Vinci might emerge, my aspiration is for S-chan to reach a state where ordinary writing can be used, communication with others is possible, and yet she is still recognized for her unique brilliance.
Interestingly, I've always struggled with writing from a young age. I had difficulty memorizing times tables, doing simple calculations, and remembering English spellings, but I excelled at writing essays and understanding theoretical equations. Considering my symptoms and personality, I wonder if I might be classified as having Asperger syndrome.
Perhaps because of this, children who typically don't warm up to others would sit on my lap, and I could communicate with them without words, making me popular among children with developmental issues. My approach to healing often involves playful interaction with these children.
Healing Treatments for S-Chan 4
Immediately after the first session with S-chan, which lasted about three hours, a noticeable change occurred in her. I asked her mother to keep a diary to record any changes that took place. From the diary, we observed various improvements:
She became quicker at buttoning and unbuttoning.
She started completing puzzles faster.
She began eating more and became calmer.
Her facial expressions matured.
She started to appear more girlish.
She began to express adult-like concerns.
These changes were observed within a week after the session. S-chan, who was born prematurely and was only five years old, had a small body, moved slowly, and wasn’t very talkative. Her mother was concerned about her development, but after the session, S-chan began eating more, grew taller, and learned many new words. It's important to remember that changes don't happen all at once; they unfold gradually, like waves reaching the shore—sometimes receding before advancing again—so patience is often the best approach.
Although S-chan showed immediate improvement after the session, she seemed to slow down a week later, returning to slower movements and struggling with speech, as before. It appears that her physical movements and cognitive functions improved right after the sessions. During these times, reading picture books to her might help her retain new words and maintain her cognitive speed. I advised her mother to read more picture books to her as a way to support and sustain these improvements.
Her physical movements seem to improve when she engages in new activities, such as using the horizontal bar or playing with a hula hoop, during her good phases.
Although S-chan slowed down a week later after the second healing session, reading picture books to her during her good phases seemed to help her learn new words and remember songs from cartoons, which she would then sing along to.
Her movements also appeared smoother after trying new activities at kindergarten, compared to how she was before the session.
When I first met S-chan, her movements were stiff, and she spoke very little. However, significant changes were observed after the first session. We remain hopeful for continued progress, monitoring her development without setting overly high expectations, and finding joy in even the smallest improvements.
Seeing her accomplish things she couldn’t do before fills us with excitement. We are enjoying this journey and look forward to more fun and productive sessions with S-chan.
Healing Treatments for S-Chan 5
After the second healing session with S-chan, we visited the nearby shrines, including Horikoshi Shrine and Shitennoji Temple, to pray to the deities. S-chan enjoyed the visit, and despite the hot summer temperatures, she walked with positive energy and enthusiasm, as her mother later reported to me.
At just 5 years old, S-chan has a curious fondness for shrines and temples. Her eyes sparkle with joy whenever she visits such places, and without any prompting, she naturally joins her hands and bows deeply on her own.
I later also heard that S-chan and her family members visited their family grave, which I had recommended. They hadn't visited the grave in a long time, and it was overgrown with grass. Despite this, S-chan diligently helped clean it.
Whether it was the positive influence of honoring the gods and ancestors or the unseen support from the world of family and ancestors, S-chan’s progress improved even more compared to a week ago.
She appeared calmer, spoke more, her previously stiff facial expressions became more expressive, and her muscle movements smoother.
Acquaintances who hadn’t seen her in a while remarked, "She’s become so good and strong."
Her face in the photos looked more mature and different from before. She started trying various things on her own and even practiced writing her name. In a drawing she gifted me, her name was written, likely after much practice.
Noticed changes after the second session:
● She wants to go to different places.
● Sits properly with good manners.
● Builds complex structures with blocks.
● Her expression matured significantly, and she has become very calm.
● Plays well, conversations flow more smoothly, and her responses improved greatly.
● Acquaintances are surprised by her growth.
● She learned to write her name.
● She can fold her pajamas by herself.
Healing Treatments for S-Chan 6
By the third healing session, S-chan appeared much more composed than before. Her facial expressions and body movements were smoother, and she moved with greater ease. A friend of her mother even remarked, "S-chan seems like a completely different person."
To assess her progress, we incorporated playing with balloons into the session.
Here are the key observations and areas we focused on:
Eye Movement: There seemed to be a lack of focus, but the movement improved immediately with the work.
Head Movement: The head rotation was very smooth, not seeming to decline much, showing a good trend.
Upper Body Movement: There was a lag in hand movements, which improved with the work.
Stomach Pain: She seemed to accumulate stress easily in her stomach, but it appeared significantly better compared to before.
Lower Body Movement: There was a noticeable lag in movement, but it was incomparably smoother than before. The work eliminated the lag.
About a week after this session, S-chan's mother reported noticing the following developments:
By appearance, she seemed indistinguishable from a typical child.
Previously afraid of deer in the park, she now got along with them and seemed to be communicating with them.
She learned new words rapidly and became capable of longer conversations.
She advanced through drills on her own, showing increased understanding.
At kindergarten, she was told, "You've grown up; your face looks calm and different."
Her height started to increase rapidly.
She began keeping rhythm with her body and humming songs.
Her preferences for certain shrines became clear, as she liked some and disliked others.
Healing Treatments for S-Chan 7
Throughout the "Healing Program for Developmental Disabilities & Autism" for S-chan, we observed several key insights:
The human senses—experienced through the hands, tongue, mouth, ears, eyes, etc.—are perceived as sensations when electrical signals are transmitted from peripheral sensory nerves to the brain.
Similarly, when the body moves, electrical signals from the brain are transmitted to peripheral motor nerves and muscles, enabling movement in areas such as the hands, feet, and other body parts.
If these electrical signals do not transmit smoothly, sensations may become dull, and motor skills may decline.
Playing with children while exploring the subtle movements of the head and body, and identifying areas or causes that hinder the transmission of electrical signals, proved to be very effective.
Here are some points that may be helpful when observing sensations and movements:
Sensory Nervous System:
Transmitting information from the hand to the brain (Touch)
Transmitting information from the ear to the brain (Hearing)
Ability to feel with the tongue (Taste)
Ability to smell (Olfaction)
Ability to see with the eye (Vision)
Motor Nervous System:
Learning and uttering words (Hearing, Memory skills): It seems beneficial for growth to introduce new words when in good condition.
Related to Vision:
Points to pay attention to:
Speed of eye movement
Flow of information received by the eyes to the visual cortex at the back of the head
Focus of the eyes
Mirroring texts (Transmission between the eye and brain)
Upper Body Muscle Movement:
(Pay attention to time lag)
Movement from the wrist forward
Heavy energies of the neck and head, and movement from the shoulders forward
Lower Body Muscle Movement:
(Pay attention to time lag)
Movement of the hips and legs
Movement of the muscles around the right ankle
Spiritual Work:
Paying attention to the heavy energies at the back of the head (Inversion):
Heavy energies of the coccyx, the weight of the feet (spinning body), walking on tiptoes (Regarding grounding)
Heavy energies in the throat (Information transmission through speech)
Pain and heavy energies in the lower back and stomach (Regarding life energy)
After completing S-chan's healing Treatments Program
In my life, there have been several significant turning points. Some of these include being hospitalized for a long time at the age of 13 due to a kidney illness, deciding to leave Japan and move to the United States at 25, and then deciding to return to Japan after 20 years.
Now, I feel that the healing treatments I performed on S-chan in 2012 have become another major turning point for me. At the time, S-chan was a girl attending kindergarten, and while she might not have been able to express in words what she felt during the healing treatments, it seemed she was experiencing some internal changes.
Still, every time I read the words entrusted in the letters from her mother, who was always by her side, tears flow. Some people may not accept the idea that something can change through healing, given societal concepts.
However, in the mother’s words, despite any doubts, I can feel the "unconditional love a mother has for her child," which contributed to her daughter’s significant improvements through the healing. I can't help but feel immense gratitude for the courage of S-chan's mother.
After having the opportunity to heal S-chan, three months later, I was also given the chance to interview her mother.
The mother reported that S-chan's progress was remarkable; she seemed just like any other child playing and having fun, to the point where the terms "autism" or "developmental disabilities" hardly seemed applicable. She was full of energy, jumping around, and appeared to have grown taller and bigger compared to before the program.
When we first started this healing project, S-chan's mother was deeply concerned and asked me, “What will happen to this child after I die?” However, by the time we completed the healing program, her outlook had changed dramatically.
She told me, “My worries have disappeared, and I now look forward to the future with a bright and positive attitude. This was the most significant change for me.”
Seeing the transformation in S-chan's behavior, her mother became convinced of the influence of the spiritual world. Since then, she has no longer worried about S-chan, feels relieved, and eagerly anticipates her daughter's growth. S-chan has started to engage in verbal communication and has moved away from relying solely on gestures.
“From the first day of the healing session, my daughter changed so much it was like she was a different person. I was so happy, so happy that I never gave up," the mother said, her eyes shining with joy.
"Acquaintances and friends have started saying, 'She suddenly changed.' While the mother’s worries hadn't completely disappeared, S-chan hardly engaged in her previous behaviors, like spinning around or standing on tiptoes, at least not like before.
"Previously, there were always constant feelings of compulsion in my mind.
'I have to do something, but I don't know what to do,' and even though I knew I shouldn't compare her with other children, I always unconsciously did.
Now, I can look at S-chan with a more relaxed feeling, thinking, 'If she can just grow up normally like this.'
The sense of responsibility I felt towards S-chan has become much lighter. My daughter, S-chan, is slow to take action and learn, but she is a child who slowly but surely internalizes what she learns and makes it her own," said the mother, filled with hope for S-chan's future.
A letter from the Mother
I received an email from the mother, and I would like to share it here:
I believe not giving up is the most important thing.
Giving up is easy, but by doing so, a burden is placed on the heart, creating stress that isn't temporary—it lingers.
That's why I focused only on positive things. I paid attention to instances where there was improvement and refused to give up.
In today's medical field, parents of children with disabilities are told to "accept the situation" and are encouraged to give up. Fellow parents of children with disabilities are also made to give up.
But I am truly glad I did not give up. Even if I hadn't encountered Shasta healing, I believe I would still be searching without giving up.
So, I encourage anyone facing difficulties not to give up and to continue searching for positive solutions.
After receiving healing from Rev. Satoshi, my first impression was, "I'm not sure what it is, but something changed. It's as if something was unlocked." I noticed many significant changes, including the number of words she used, her way of walking, her gaze, and her gestures. I was amazed and even wondered, "Is she the same child?"
It was as if something that had been lurking inside her was suddenly released.
The expressions captured in photos serve as proof, showing a transformation that made her look like a different person, more appropriate for her age. There are indeed mysterious things in this world.
Although I had always been interested in the unseen spiritual world, when it came to my own experiences, I tended to be skeptical and avoided exploring it. Yet, deep down, something was always nagging at me... "Isn't there something there?" I felt it subconsciously.
And that was precisely what was addressed! That's what I believe.
I am truly, truly filled with gratitude.
To all the mothers reading this, please look towards hope, towards the light.
Please, please do not give up!
This is my heartfelt wish.
From S-chan’s mother
Children with Rich Emotions
Immediately after completing the first 3-hour healing session with S-chan, her behavior dramatically changed. I had asked her mother to keep a diary to record any changes since the first time, and it became clear that various changes had indeed occurred.
From the mother's reports, we noticed the following improvements in her daughter, S-chan:
She became quicker at buttoning and unbuttoning.
She became faster at solving puzzles.
She started eating more and became calmer.
Her facial expressions became more mature.
She started to appear more girly.
She began to show adult-like concerns.
These improvements were noticed within a week after the first healing session.
When I first met S-chan, she was 5 years old, born prematurely a month before her expected due date, and was small for her age. She was slow in her movements and not very talkative, which concerned her mother. However, after the session, S-chan began to improve in many ways—she started eating more, grew taller, and learned many new words.
It’s often observed that children with developmental difficulties or autism tend to have rich emotions, and S-chan was no exception.
From the first healing session, I felt that S-chan was a child with very rich emotions within her. However, she seemed to have few words to express these emotions to the outside world, and previously, she tended to keep them inside herself.
As we conducted several sessions, her cognitive functions gradually improved. She learned many new words and how to use them effectively, along with gaining new knowledge. Her physical movements also improved, and she made more friends, becoming popular in kindergarten.
As her ability to speak and move improved, she seemed to discover more ways to express herself to the outside world. She began to enjoy expressing her emotions through music (piano), dance, and drawing, and these areas appeared to have great potential for further growth through our work together.
In terms of perceiving the essence of people and things, as well as being sensitive to spirits and energy, S-chan appeared to have exceptional talents compared to other children, which seemed innate. I believe that acknowledging and accepting her as she is, without denial, would allow her to continue to grow in these areas. Working with S-chan made me reflect on many things and taught me a great deal.
I was able to understand much more about myself and my own experiences, especially in comparison to my childhood. I felt that while conducting the healing sessions for S-chan, I was also evaluating and refining my movements and abilities.
Watching S-chan gradually change, with improvements in her cognitive abilities and physical movements, made me feel as happy as if these were my achievements.
I am truly grateful to have participated in this project.
After Completing S-chan’s Healing Program
After completing S-Chan’s three-month healing program, I came to a profound realization: the potential of meditation and healing runs far deeper than I had ever imagined. This experience has strengthened my belief in the vast potential inherent in every human being.
It is often said that a human is composed of three elements: spirit, mind, and body. While I was aware of this concept, I had never truly considered its practical implications in the real world.
Through S-Chan’s healing journey, I deeply felt how the spirit and mind significantly influence the physical body that we perceive. This understanding led me to realize that when we allow the light of the spirit to shine brightly and grow stronger, the body begins to transform, and the three-dimensional reality around us is shaped according to the spirit’s intentions.
In our daily lives, unless we face some sort of crisis, the presence of the spirit—often faint and obscure—rarely undergoes a dramatic transformation, suddenly shining brightly and growing stronger.
However, when we engage in meditation and confront our inner selves, gaining deeper self-awareness, the presence of the spirit becomes stronger. Even if a person is unable to meditate, the situation can still change if their family and those around them meditate and come to understand themselves better.
As a meditation and healing guide, when I confront my inner self and come to know my true nature, the presence of the other person’s spirit also begins to shine brightly and undergo a profound transformation.
When the presence of the spirit grows stronger, the body and the three-dimensional aspects of existence begin to change as a result. In S-Chan’s case, as the presence of the spirit strengthened, noticeable changes began to manifest in the body.
Through this healing program with S-Chan, I have come to truly believe that the essence of a human being is the spirit. I have begun to see that everything in this three-dimensional world has its spirit and that the Earth, the universe, and all their spirits are interconnected, originally stemming from the same source.
Up until this point, I was aware of the theory that spirit, mind, and body together constitute a human being, but I now realize that I did not fully understand it. Through the experience of healing S-Chan, I have come to believe in this theory and am now eager to explore the relationship between these three elements more deeply and pursue a greater understanding.
