In high school in Japan, students have no opportunity to learn about what Japan has been since 1945, he says.
It is not because we have no time to learn this in the curriculum viewpoint, but because high school students mustn’t learn about something important of Japan, which might be controlled as if it were a colony by America for about seven decades deliberately, he says.
When it comes to Cold War, we absolutely remember “Cuba Crisis,” where the President JFK managed to succeed in avoiding the nuclear war, which enabled him to be evaluated highly, in addition, he tried to avoid fighting with China in Vietnam in 1963 in vain because he was assassinated before he arrived at his destination.
Considering his age 45 in those days, the current President is about twice as old as the late President.
The latter tried to promote various innovative measures with the new frontier spirits in his mind, and vice verse.
As compared with the latter, the former has been considered as someone unreliable, or a soft touch by numerous ordinary citizens in his nation in recent years.
Our mentality outweighs our age, the late President said.
What the late President said in 1961 in front of tremendously numerous audiences seemed extremely impressive toward him.
What matters is that the people should do something important to the nation, at the same time, the people shouldn’t wait until the nation should take actions toward them, which the current Diet members in our society should listen to.
