日本語「早期英語教育が導入される話」

ここで英訳の練習を始めて１カ月ちょっと経った。いろんな人に読んでもらってるのでモチベーションは下がらない。ただ書くネタを探すのに苦労するようになった。経験不足だろう。
Around one month passed since I started to practice English composition, and my motivation has been maintained because not a few guests or followers read my sentences.
But sometimes or frequently I take pains to come up with new subjects, which causes me to realize that my experiences haven’t been matured yet.

英作文をする速度も上がってはいる。しかし自分の得意とする分野においてのことだ。理系的な内容については語彙が足りないので調べてものをしながらのことになる。文系には辛い。
The speed of my translation has increased, but it is limited within my favorite topics or my strong fields.
When it comes to science course’s contents, the number of technical terms in my head is surprisingly small, so it takes me a few minutes to find such an unknown word’s meaning on the Internet.
Sometimes I envy several STEM-oriented people.

結局は英訳の訓練をすることが目的だ。だから日本語はメモに過ぎない。日本語だけ読んで面白いと思えるものが書けるほど才能はない。しかも英訳しやすいような日本文を書いている。
After all, my purpose is to train English composition, so a sentence in Japanese is only a note or a memo.
Someone perhaps might find my sentences in Japanese instructive or educational, but this isn’t the case.
I don’t have any talents to attract such readers.
In addition, my Japanese sentences are easy to translate into English, which is a secret to keep this habit.

中学生に英語を教えるのは難しい。申し訳ないがどうしてこんなことも理解できないのかと思う。侮辱しているわけではない。英語と日本語が違いすぎるのだ。特に語順が違いすぎ。
It is astonishingly challenging for me to explain English structures to junior high school students.
To my regret, I often or frequently wonder why they can’t understand such an easy explanation.
Never have I looked down on their ability, no rather there are too numerous and complicated differences between English and our mother tongue, especially word order.

日本語はアルファベットを使わない。主語の直後に動詞は置かれない。早期英語教育の導入はいけない。幼いこどもの日本語が変になるだけだ。日本人なら日本語を大切にするべきだ。
Alphabetical letters don’t exist in Japanese language, a “verb” cannot be placed just after a “subject,” and so on.
We cannot allow Early English Education to enter the educational curriculum because little children haven’t acquired enough ability to employ Japanese to their hearts’ content yet, which might cause them to speak strange native language.
Japanese people should consider Japanese language as something precious and indispensable to protect Japanese traditional culture and history.
