“ウタヨミビト”の6thシングル『朝顔の花』は「紫式部集」「源氏物語」「和泉式部集」「建礼門院右京大夫集」といった歌集の中で詠まれた夏の風物詩“朝顔”の和歌をモチーフに、巧みに現代語訳し紡ぎ合わせた作品。
“ポルトガルギター(ギターラ・ポルトゲッサ)”が奏でる郷愁感-サウダージ-溢れるポルトガル音楽“ファド”を軸に、沖縄の三線を由来とする新たな楽器”四線”の音色を融合。
東西にユーラシア大陸を遠く隔てた二つの響きを結び付けたユニークなサウンドを、色鮮やかに奏でます。

The 6th tune of UTAYOMIBITO "asagao no hana -morning glory-". Music arrangement of this song is based on Portuguese popular music "fado". We play it by the Portugal guitar called "guitarra Portuguessa"and to crossover the far eastern music culture, we also use the Okinawan-Japanese new music instrument "yonshin" which is developed from traditional sanshin. The lyrics sung in Japanese are improvised from the Japanese poetry called "tanka". The motif of this song is beautiful morning glory which was written in the oldest collection of Japanese poetry "Murasaki-Shikibu shu","The Tale of Genji","Izumi-Shikibu shu" and Kenreimonin-ukyo-no-daibu shu".
