外食産業ロボティクスのスタートアップ米Ally Robotics社、シード資金850万ドルを調達へ

2022年5月17日、ロボットアーム製作スタートアップ米Ally Robotics社は、資金クラウドファンディングサイトWAXを通じて、最大850万ドル（11億4700万円、１ドル=134.99円で換算、以下同）のシード資金を調達するキャンペーンを開始したと発表した。

同社はすでに、レストランオートメーション市場を牽引する米Miso Robotics社と、Miso Robotics社のモジュール式揚げ物ロボット「Flippy 2」向けに3000万ドル（40億4900万円）相当のロボットアームを提供することについて合意。Miso Robotics社は、手頃な価格のこのロボットアームの導入により30%の費用削減を見込んでいる。

Ally Robotics社は、レストランやホスピタリティ業界、そして将来的には農業や建設業、製造業など他の分野にも展開することを視野に入れ、費用対効果が高く使いやすいロボットアームの開発に取り組むとのこと。
