【7週間】畑はきゅうりラッシュ！

十日町は12月から4月までは積雪があり、野菜を育てられるのは5月中旬から11月頃まで。日本の中でも短い地域のようです。
高低差があり日本海から来る雲のお陰で湿度が高いので、この期間に植物がぐんぐん伸びます。
気がつくと、最近は毎日何かしら収穫したものを食します。

特にキュウリの大きさにびっくりです。

水と土と日の恵みに感謝です。ウィルスに負けないよう、野菜をたくさん食べるようにします。

Cucumber harvest! Tokamachi has snow from December to April. Vegetables can be grown from mid-May to November. It is much shorter than west Japan.
High humidity and high grand make plants grow steadily during this period. Thanks to plants, water, soil and the sun, I eat harvested foods these days.
