そして、推敲の重ねも意識してない内に

ぶら下がってゆらゆらーー

夏や春に実を結び

収穫の秋に果てたのだろうか？

Do the dolorous songbirds of Spring grow,

like scented flower petals that fall and fan out,

blessings of love, health, companionship,

and so many vital things.

Were they from some mysterious seeds borne,

unknown in some blasted fields of winter,

and without having consciously belaboured,

hanging pendulous---

fruited in Summer or Spring,

and perished in the Harvest's fall?
