Forgetfulness is a good thing be,
Shewth*a thee thy strength eye not see;
And need not sorrow's wisdom, yet.
Happy, and albeit as all gay song, some day;
Do shy away and issue all years.
In the efflux of tears.
健忘は良いことであるだろう、
汝の見えないとろの力を示すから
悲しみの知恵はまだ必要なく、
幸せそうな、けれど全ての歓喜の歌は何時か
恥じによって遠ざかるだろう、歳をくれる
涙の流れの中で。
