礒貝剛さんの箱に感銘を受けたのが2020年⌚

それ以来、YouTubeで動画にするべく色々にゃ方々にご協力頂いて作成出来た朗読第一弾（以下参照）

第一弾の完成を迎えたのは2021年3月🍡

そこから更に自分でも朗読したい！と言い出して、現在進行形で目下、作成途中の朗読（以下参照）【残り2話まで来ていますにゃ🐾】

そんにゃ大切にゃ礒貝剛さんの作品に関する翻訳が実は、前回の分から１年が経過してしまいましたが、
翻訳自体は毎月、幾度も協議を重ねて進めておりましたにゃ🐾

2022年に起業して以来、丸一年、試験に奔走し、2023年の今年もミシンなど新しい事に挑み続けにゃがらも、常にこの作品には触れ続けており、
かくして出来上がった翻訳を本日より３日連続で投函させて頂きますにゃ🌟

英語ではありますが、良ければホケーっとご覧頂き、何かを感じて頂ければ幸いですニャ🌼

高校を卒業した小春と咲
二人の慎ましやかでも優しい世界を

The seasons went by and it was time for us to
graduate high school.

The manager that I was working for during high-school student
recommended me to one of his friends who owned a florist shop.
It was a popular place.

My ex-manager told his friend owner that
I worked hard and had a positive attitude.
It really made me happy when I heard that.

My mother also worked at a florist before she got married.
My mother grew many flowers at home.
She was very depressed after my father left her,
so I was taking care of them.

But, it was a little difficult for a little kid to take care of them,
and I would let some of them die.

Koharu also tried to get some job, but
she had to give up because of her phobia.
Koharu was searching for other ways to earn money.

She found a way by building her own e-com store.

She was getting a lot of comments by other people on social media
when she posted about her original hand-made created by used clothing and accessories. So she thought to give a try to sell them online.

At first, she was sending out DMs to people who might be interested.
She saved up some money from the sale she made and then bought a laptop.
And then she asked a web-designer who she met on a social media
to create a cool e-com store.

Her hand made items and its model that had a link to her own website spread through social media.
I often did some modeling by wearing what Koharu made.

When I was in the high school, I suddenly got taller.

Koharu and I had a height difference of about 10 cm.
It was kind of sad that we couldn’t share clothes anymore.
But it felt good when people give comments on Koharu’s post
that I was in as a model.

After leaving the orphanage,
Koharu and I rented a room and lived together.
Koharu did most of the chorus around our house.
I felt sorry for making her do most of the work.
All I did was some shopping, taking out the trash,
and cleaning the bath room.

Even though Koharu was busy as I was,
she took care of the chorus like it was not a big deal.

Even when we were in the orphanage, Koharu was the one
who always kept the room clean.

She said "Saki teaches me how to study, so
I'm doing this to show my gratitude for it."

Koharu was creating new merchandise for her business,
handling the sipping, and doing other most of chorus around the house,
and, in the meantime, studied for new ideas.

Now she has her own e-com store to send her original clothing & accessories.
This is what she made from scratch. Koharu is a hard worker.

When we were kids going to school,
her grade was way better than mine.
Even when she was studying remotely during high school,
she always finished her home-work earlier before the due date
the teacher gave us.

I’m helping Koharu to handle her shipping
on her online business.
Most of the people who came to collect her packages from the shipping company were men.

I felt I was asking too much to the shipping company,
but I asked them to send us female collectors to collect our packages.
However, when they couldn’t send us a female collector,
I took the packages directly to the shipping company by myself.

The flower shop I started to work for
let me get a driver’s license and they also
let me use the company’s car.

This is how Koharu and I were living together.

Although we were not rich,
we were able to live together
without any financial trouble.

After four years left from leaving the orphanage,
Koharu made a boyfriend.

あとがき：
・「花を枯らす」は「let them die」と表し、
die つまり死の表現が使われてしまうのが切なかったですニャ🐾

・「ショッピングサイト」はe-com storeと表現するし
「ＳＮＳ」はsocial media と表現するので、同じカタカナ表記やローマ字表記でも、日英では表現が変わるのが面白いですにゃ🌈

・今回の記事の中で一番気に入っている表現は
「she made from scratch」ですにゃ〇
ゼロから作る、それは真っ白いキャンバスに自分の世界を描くこと🖊
そう、私もネコの爪で引っかいてやるにゃ♪（scratch＝引っかく）
という気持ちも含めて、この熟語を使いましたにゃ(*´ω｀)
