We had to get up at 5:30 to take a bus to go to Chicago. After three-hour ride, we arrived at the Union Station. It was a traditional building. Our first plan was to go to Adler Planetarium, so we took a walk around there for 40 minutes. I was first so surprised to see many gigantic and tall buildings and a beautiful park with many birds and the lake Michigan. We took a lot of pictures. The planetarium itself was also really good, which had many educational depicted panels and a show. Then, we ate Chicago style hotdog, which was the best meal so far;)
We also went to the Art Institute of Chicago after lunch because we had time. Though it was too huge to see everything for a few hours, we tried to go around as much as possible and enjoyed very much. I was interested in Van Gogh and Christ areas especially.
Under the splendid view of Chicago downtown, we went to our hotel first. We ate a big sandwich and soup for dinner at Potbelly, which was really good again:)
Finally, at 12 o'clock, we went to the beach of the lake Michigan to watch the firework show. It was very moving with a Ferris wheel and tall buildings.
