能登半島、輪島市出身のMasahikohigashiの作品を取り扱っております。 ２０２４年のお盆に能登半島の輪島市にて家族の肖像写真撮影プロジェクトを行いました。 こちらで購入して頂いた作品の売上金はプロジェクトを継続する予算とさせて頂ければと思っております。 令和６年１月１日、能登半島地震で土地、家、家財、家族、仕事という生きていく根本を失ってしまいました。 築いてきた全てを失うことで思い出したことがあります。それは家族の尊さでした。 忙しいからと盆暮れ正月の帰省を見送ってきた子供たちが親を心配し戻ってくるようになりました。 私自身も被災し故郷の変わり果てた姿を見て命に紐づくこと以外は余分なことなのだと教えられました。 先祖代々繋いできた命は天災を乗り越え、これからも続いてゆきます。 私は故郷の皆さまにスマートフォンでも写真は撮れるこのご時世に、わざわざ家族で足を運んで撮影体験を して頂くことによって得られる“大切な人の温度を持ち帰って頂きたいと思っております。 そして家族や仲間が同じ体験をすることで、この町でもう一回やってやろうじゃないかなどという 一体感が生まれるのではないかと思っております。 あの時の撮影楽しかったね。元気が出たねと、いつの日か語られるようになれば幸いです。 ユニヴァースドロップス・アートはコンセプチュアルアートを中心とした現代美術を扱います。 世界中のオフィスやコレクターのお部屋にお届けできればと思っております。 "I conducted a family portrait photography project in Wajima City, Noto Peninsula during Obon( is a traditional Japanese Buddhist event held to honor the spirits of deceased ancestors. It usually takes place from August 13th to 16th) 2024. I would like to use the proceeds from the purchased works as a budget to continue this project. On January 1, 2024, the Noto Peninsula earthquake took away our fundamental means of living - our land, homes, possessions, family members, and work. Losing everything we had built reminded me of something: the preciousness of family. Children who had been skipping their visits during Obon, New Year's, and other holidays due to being busy are now returning home worried about their parents. As a victim myself, seeing my hometown in such a changed state taught me that nothing matters except what is tied to life itself. The life that has been passed down through generations will overcome this natural disaster and continue onward. In this age where anyone can take photos with smartphones, I want people in my hometown to come together as families for this photography experience and take home the 'warmth of their loved ones.' I believe that when families and friends share this same experience, it might create a sense of unity, inspiring thoughts like 'let's rebuild this town together.' I hope that someday people will talk about how the photo session was enjoyable and how it gave them strength."
